Required Qualifications:
- Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science OR N3 in Engineering Studies
Skills and Attributes Needed:
- Strong communication skills
- Physical capability to lift packaged products; must be in good physical health
- Commitment to meeting all learnership requirements, including assessments, logbook completion, and assignments as set by Unilever and the training provider
Key Responsibilities:
The selected learner will handle line operations and adhere to cleaning protocols to ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality packaged products. Responsibilities include:
- Performing pre-start checks to verify cleanliness and safety of equipment per SOP standards
- Monitoring product quality against set benchmarks, promptly addressing any faults in products or packaging
- Quickly identifying and resolving process issues to prevent disruptions
- Supporting an eco-friendly workspace by cleaning machines to meet both manufacturer and site specifications
- Preparing and organizing raw materials for production while maintaining a safe working environment for all
