Job Description
Participants will receive practical and theoretical training in the field of e-waste and environmental sustainability. This includes working directly with professionals in the recycling industry, participating in audits, and contributing to projects focused on reducing technological waste.
Key Tasks Include:
- Collection, classification, and safe disposal of electronic waste
- Learning and applying industry-approved recycling practices
- Participating in environmental audits and green policy evaluations
- Reporting recyclable material data and maintaining digital records
- Assisting with warehouse organization and sustainability tracking
- Participating in hands-on training sessions and workshops
- Contributing to innovation in e-waste processes and solutions

Role Responsibility
As a learner, you will be responsible for:

- Applying theoretical learning to practical work situations
- Demonstrating commitment, punctuality, and professional behavior

- Be a South African citizen with a valid South African ID

- Have completed Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy and Physical Science
- Be unemployed and not enrolled in another learnership or study programme
- Provide proof of residence in Gauteng
- Be available for the full 12-month programme
