Job Description

Participants will receive practical and theoretical training in the field of e-waste and environmental sustainability. This includes working directly with professionals in the recycling industry, participating in audits, and contributing to projects focused on reducing technological waste.

Key Tasks Include:

  • Collection, classification, and safe disposal of electronic waste
  • Learning and applying industry-approved recycling practices
  • Participating in environmental audits and green policy evaluations
  • Reporting recyclable material data and maintaining digital records
  • Assisting with warehouse organization and sustainability tracking
  • Participating in hands-on training sessions and workshops
  • Contributing to innovation in e-waste processes and solutions

  • Be unemployed and not enrolled in another learnership or study programme
  • Provide proof of residence in Gauteng
  • Be available for the full 12-month programme
