Job Description:
The General Worker position is based within a high-functioning, quality-controlled production environment. You will be responsible for assisting in the overall production process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
The daily duties of this role will include:
- Operating and overseeing the bagging and weighing of products
- Sealing product bags accurately and efficiently
- Monitoring production equipment for safety and functional compliance
- Maintaining cleanliness and order in both production and general operational areas
- Reporting equipment or process deviations to the Production Supervisor
- Supporting ad hoc tasks related to the operational needs of the site
The position requires physical stamina, technical awareness, and the ability to work night shifts when required. AECI prioritises quality and safety in all processes, and as such, the successful candidates must be detail-oriented and capable of following production protocols precisely.

Role Responsibility:
As a General Worker, your contribution will be central to the smooth operation of the production cycle. You will be directly involved in handling and packaging animal health products, maintaining strict hygiene and safety protocols, and ensuring product quality is never compromised.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing materials and equipment for daily production runs
- Weighing and measuring product quantities according to specifications
- Handling and sealing bags in alignment with packaging standards
- Ensuring the operational area is clean, clutter-free, and compliant with workplace safety rules
- Observing equipment to detect faults and stopping production to report serious defects
- Adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and health guidelines
- Supporting shift-based production activities, including extended hours or night shifts as required
- Assisting in any additional tasks or responsibilities delegated by supervisors or managers
This role demands physical fitness and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods. Being observant and responsive to production-related challenges is essential.
