Job Description

Participants in the YES Programme will be placed in professional environments across Centurion and East London, gaining firsthand exposure to various business functions at Daimler Truck Southern Africa. Successful candidates will be assigned to departments that match their educational background or interests.

Intern responsibilities may include:

Role Responsibility

Depending on the business unit placement, interns may be expected to:

  • Assist with document preparation, filing, and system updates
  • Conduct market research or technical reviews under supervision
  • Prepare reports, presentations, or internal communication materials
  • Support event coordination or internal marketing activities
  • Provide basic IT troubleshooting or data management assistance
  • Contribute to operational logistics and supply chain functions
  • Assist HR teams with recruitment, onboarding, and record-keeping
  • Liaise with internal departments or suppliers to track processes
