Job Description
The YES Programme offers young people the opportunity to gain work experience within a store environment across TFG’s popular retail brands. As a participant you will receive practical hands-on exposure in customer service store operations and team collaboration. This is not just a job but a foundational experience designed to open up career pathways in the retail industry

Ideal Candidate
Candidates should be motivated eager to learn and passionate about customer service. You do not need retail experience to apply but a willingness to work and grow in a team-driven environment is essential. Matric is preferred but not mandatory. This opportunity is ideal for those who are disciplined reliable and committed to completing the 12-month programme

Role Responsibility

Provide excellent customer service and support on the shop floor
Learn how to merchandise and maintain store presentation
Assist with stock control and basic administration
Uphold brand standards and build customer loyalty
Participate in on-the-job learning and training sessions

Skills and Attributes

Good communication and interpersonal skills
Enthusiastic and willing to learn
Reliable and punctual
Positive attitude and team spirit
Basic computer literacy is a bonus

Minimum Requirements

South African citizen
Age between 18 and 28
Must be currently unemployed
Not enrolled in full-time studies from April 2025 to March 2026
Must not have been permanently employed for more than 12 consecutive months
Must not have participated in a YES programme before
Must be able to commute or relocate at own cost if required
