  • Track audit reports and corrective actions, ensuring compliance with Glencore’s safety policies.
  • Support the integration and execution of new campaign audit methodologies.
  • Prepare data-driven insights for regulatory and compliance reporting.

Administrative & Ad Hoc Responsibilities

  • Perform general administrative tasks related to assurance tracking.
  • Assist in maintaining internal databases and data repositories.
  • Provide cross-functional support to teams working on tailings safety and sustainability.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:

🎓 Higher, Advanced Diploma (NQF Level 6) or Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Mining, or a related discipline.

Experience & Skills:

2+ years of experience in geotechnical, civil, or mining industries.
✔ Strong data management and reporting experience.
✔ Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI, DocuSign).
✔ Experience in tracking compliance and managing audit records.
✔ Understanding of tailings management principles and industry best practices.
✔ Fluency in English (Additional languages like French, Spanish, Russian, or German are advantageous).

  • Ability to collate, analyze, and report on geotechnical/mining datasets.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in audit tracking and risk assessments.
  • Experience working with data analytics tools for risk evaluation.
