Candidate role during the programme

As a Diesel Mechanic Assistant, you will:

Service and maintain trucks according to manufacturer specifications
Keep accurate records (job cards, service sheets, stock sheets, inspections)
Assist with repairs and workshop activities as directed by the Transport Manager
Perform daily and weekly cleaning of work areas, tools, and trucks
Ensure vehicles are kept in a safe, clean, and efficient working condition
Work overtime and weekends when required

Grade 12 / N2–N6 in Mechanical Engineering
Diesel Mechanic Trade Test (advantageous)

Code C1 Driver’s License with PDP
