Who is SAPS?

What is SAPS Graduate Internships 2025/2026?

The SAPS Graduate Recruitment Scheme offers two streams:

Graduate Internships: For applicants with a completed Diploma or Degree (NQF level 6 or higher) registered on the NLRD.
Student Internships: For students requiring in-service training to complete their qualifications (must provide an institutional confirmation letter, not older than two years).

This is a 12-month structured programme where interns will gain professional skills, participate in departmental activities, and serve their communities.

Are you Eligible?

Applicants must:

Be South African citizens with a valid ID
Hold a Matric / NSC or NCV Level 4 certificate
Be unemployed and not previously employed in the relevant field
Have no criminal record or pending cases
Not have participated in any other internship in the same field
Reside in the province where applying
Submit a maximum of three applications (each with its own reference number and form)
