Job Description
The Direct Sales Agent will be tasked with a range of responsibilities that center on selling Tracker products and services via outbound telephone calls. The role involves a mix of customer engagement, product upselling, lead conversion, and data recording. The core responsibilities include:
- Making outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote and sell Tracker products
- Upselling and cross-selling products across various Tracker campaigns
- Achieving and exceeding monthly sales quotas and conversion targets
- Building strong and lasting relationships with customers to foster trust and repeat business
- Keeping a detailed log of all customer interactions using CRM tools
- Following up on leads and customer queries in a timely and professional manner
- Demonstrating excellent product knowledge and staying informed of industry trends and competitors
- Adapting and developing new sales techniques to meet changing market demands
- Consistently maintaining customer service standards, especially during high-pressure periods
- Collaborating with the internal team to ensure customer satisfaction and proper service delivery
- Participating in occasional overtime or Saturday shifts as requested by management

Role Responsibility

- Contacting leads through outbound calls and responding to customer inquiries
- Explaining Tracker’s product offerings clearly and confidently
- Tailoring solutions based on customer needs and preferences
- Recording and updating client information accurately in the system
- Closing sales and ensuring proper documentation and follow-up
- Reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly performance
- Adhering to the company’s compliance policies and ethical sales practices
Skills and Attributes

- Matric (Grade 12) qualification
- Minimum 1–2 years outbound sales experience in a call centre

- High level of computer literacy (CRM systems experience an advantage)
