Qualifications:

  • Educational Requirements: BCom Degree in Human Resources or a related field (NQF Level 7); an Honours degree in HR or a related field is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Technical Proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Office Suite and internet use
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication abilities, good telephone etiquette, and effective teamwork under supervision
  • Organizational Skills: Prioritization, detail-oriented approach, commitment to deadlines, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Personal Attributes: Initiative, punctuality, responsibility, and commitment
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain discretion with sensitive information
  • Problem-Solving and Time Management: Ability to work effectively under pressure

Other Requirements:

  • Eligibility: Unemployed South African citizens who have completed a UNISA qualification at NQF Level 7 or above, with no formal work experience in the field
  • Age: Applicants must be 35 years or younger
  • Graduate Status: Open to UNISA graduates only; previous UNISA interns or those from other organizations may not apply.
