Job Description
As a Retail Sales Assistant at adidas, you will support the day-to-day operations of the store while ensuring an excellent customer experience. From assisting with sales to stock replenishment and visual merchandising, your role is essential in maintaining the energy, efficiency, and professionalism of the adidas brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to every guest
- Process transactions using point-of-sale systems including cash, credit, and returns
- Replenish merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor
- Assist with ticketing, paperwork, and inventory checks
- Support with in-store displays, promotions, and floor layouts
- Maintain general housekeeping and adhere to store cleanliness standards
- Apply upselling and cross-selling techniques to reach sales targets
- Greet customers warmly, offer assistance, and guide them to the right products
- Act as a front-door greeter during peak hours or promotional days
- Protect company assets by following safety and loss prevention procedures

Education and Experience Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate (compulsory)
- 0–1 year of retail experience (entry-level welcome)
- Previous fashion retail or customer service experience is an advantage but not required
